Upcoming Events

We have some great opportunities coming to Charleston Kettlebell Club this fall!   Check it out:

We will again host the Tactical Strength Challenge this October 1st.  The turnout and competition was fantastic this spring but we want to do even better this time.  If you are a student of strength please consider competing.  There are multiple divisions and you can specialize in only one lift if you want to test yourself but don’t feel ready for all of the lifts.  There is still a lot of time to begin preparation and we plan to offer specific individual support and, with enough interest, run TSC specific classes. Come out and represent!  Sign ups will open soon.  Learn more about the competition at the Tactical Strength Challenge.

We are also hosting the Break Through Strength Workshop.  We are very pleased and excited to bring to Charleston one the best performing Strongman on the planet, Chris Rider.  This November 5th, we look forward to having Chris instruct us on a variety of classic feats of strength such as tearing phone books, decks of cards, bending nails and horseshoes, and a variety of other feats.  In addition, we will learn strength training techniques, visualization techniques and have a gang of fun.  If you are a student of strength, like trying new things, learning life-long lessons and having fun then this is definitely for you.  Learn more about Chris at BreakThroughStrength.com and sign up for the workshop here at BreathThroughStrength-Charleston.

Finally, in a continued attempt to bring great educational opportunities to the dirty south, we are very pleased to announce Steve Maxwell’s Kettlebell Certification Level 1, this December 11th. Steve Maxwell is the real deal.  He’s recognized as one of the most creative strength and conditioning coaches anywhere, with expertise from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to breathing and stretching techniques and is considered the American Master of Russian Kettlebells.  This certification is not for beginners.  You have to have a good handle on the basic kettlebell lifts.  However, it is appropriate for anyone looking to deepen their knowledge of kettlebell training.  We’re looking at you South Carolina trainers that use kettlebells in your coaching and classes!  Non-coaches are also welcome and will learn how to better use kettlebells in your personal practice.  Learn more and sign up here today:Charleston Kettlebell Certification.
